WELCOME to the Furls Blog Hop 2020
Furls is doing something a little different this year! We are hosting a weekly Blog Hop with some of our favorite designers. Don't worry, we'll still be doing our monthly Crochet and Knit a longs, but now you'll also have a new Furls pattern every week.
Each designer will be using our Whims Merino Yarn, available in both DK and Worsted weights.
How the Blog Hop will work
Every Sunday we will update this page with the current weeks designer. Just click on the link to be brought to the free pattern.

Week Fifty Two: One more year in the books friends. 2020 will soon be coming to an end (thank goodness... am I right?).
We are ending this year with hopes of peace for 2021 with this lovely angel design by Oombawka Design Crochet, Chastity. This beatiful angel can be customized in many ways, which Rhondda of Oombawka has many suggestions for in her blog post.

Week Fifty One: This week's blog hop pattern was designed by Amy of The Stitchin' Mommy. Amy has designed a fun ribbed hat that is available in 6 sizes. It has extra long ribbing so that it can be folded over.
Week Fifty: This week's blog hop pattern was designed by Pia of Stitches n Scraps. Pia has designed this lovely cape wrap. This free pattern features a generous, flowing fit and amazing drape.
Week Forty Nine: This week's blog hop pattern is brought to you by Jennifer of Fiber Flux. Jennifer has designed this gorgeous cowl, the Catching Snowflakes Cowl. This stunning pattern is available for free on the Fiber Flux blog.
Week Forty Eight: This week we are joined by Rhondda of Oombawka Design Crochet. Rhondda has designed a lovely angel decoration, Temperance.

Week Forty Three: This week we have a special treat for your; Not only has Alex from With Alex designed a lovely beginner friendly Tunsian cowl, but she had done it with hand dyed Whims Merino, and she has a tutorial for how you can make your very own custom hand dyed Whims as well.
Week Forty Two: This gorgeous wreath pattern is brought to us by Ashley of The Loopy Lamb. This home decor peice is both timeless and classic. The Crochet Winter Wreath Pattern utilizes minamilism which is very popular and trendy.

Week Thirty Nine: This super fun and stylish hat is brought to us by Sonya of Blackstone Designs. The Stripes and Hearts Beanie is available in three different sizes and includes an easy to follow chart. If you've never done colorwork like this before, don't fear; Sonya has provided a detailed tutorial for you to follow

Week Thirty Seven: Next up is this gorgous knit cowl designed by Anja of Peony and Thyme. Anja combined two colors of our Whims Merino to create this color blocked design. The Peony and Thyme cowl features a simple pattern repeat and great for beginning knitters.
Week Thirty Six: The Sassy Crochet Belt by Pink Plumeria Maui is a fun and quick pattern that you can make within an hour or so. This easy design will add a punch to any outfit in your closet. All you'll need is a D ring, find a link to get yours in the pattern directions.
Week Thirty Five: The Crystalized Boho Cardigan by Crystal of Crystalized Designs features gorgeous lace open work with a fun boho flair. This design is perfect for layering. Although this design looks complex, it becomes effortless a few rows in.
Week Thirty Four: The Whims Mommy and Me beanie set by Ashley of Through the Loop is the perfect design to whip up for you and your little one. This matching hat set is gender neutral and features a fun modified stitch.

Week Thirty: The Summer Throw Pillow by Torie of The Dark and Twisty Housewife. This home decor crochet pattern utilizes intarsia crochet. If this is your first time using this crochet method then this very detailed pattern is perfect for you.
Week Twenty Nine: How sweet is this bag? The Bumble Crossbody Bag, designed by Nina Bella Knits, is a fun everyday crochet bag, embellished with cute little bees.

Week Twenty Three: This glass cozy designed by Emily of Fiat Fiber Arts is a great way to use up smaller amounts of our Whims Merino. Emily generously provides a printable pdf for you!
Week Twenty Two: The Sail Away Tank from Ellie of Hook Yarn Carabiner is an awesome Summer design. It works up quick with high impact.
Week Twenty One: The Love is in the Air Poncho by The Purple Poncho is so open and airy. We love the pretty shell border.
Week Twenty: The Tiffany Flapper Hat by Jessie of Jessie at Home is super retro and very fun.
Week Nineteen: This slipper pattern by Julie of Accrochet is the perfect design for this crazy time. They will keep you cozy and warm.
Week Eighteen: This lovely coccoon shrug is brough to us by Amber of Divine Debris. This design is super cuddly. We are positive that you will enjoy making this delightful pattern.
Week Seventeen: The Honeycomb Shawl features the Tunisian Honeycomb stitch. The texture on this shawl pattern by Ashlea of Hook Heart Home is to die for.
Week Sixteen: We are loving this beautiful knit sweater by our very own Ashlie Avery of Brindle Babe Designs. Ashlie has created an Easy Knit Cardigan, complete with video tutorials. This design is meant to be oversized for a casual look.
Week Fifteen: This gorgeous design, the Vigonovo Hooded Scarf, by Rebekah Haas, is inspired by nature and is a great Spring inspired design. This pattern is easily customizable and features fun optional pom poms.
Week Fourteen: This adorable amigurumi sheep pattern was designed by Marie Segares of The Underground Crafter. Sunny the Sheep features fun bubble stitches and she has oh, so much personality.
Week Thirteen: This fun Striped Cluster Cowl is made with two colors, that really highlight the texture in the clusters, however this design would look great in just one color or even lots of colors.
Week Twelve: This gorgeous shawl, the Leona Striped Crochet Shawl, is designed by Brianna Iaropoli of Life and Yarn. This fun design features gorgous lace in two colors of our Whims Merino DK.
Week Eleven: The AJK Solitude Pillow is brought to you by Rachael of Addison James Knits. This gorgeous knit design is the perfect home decor addition to any home.
Week Ten: The Granny Square Don't Care Skirt is designed by April of OTH Crochet Nook. This fun design turns granny squares into fashionable clothing. This design is super easy to customize to your size and desired fit.
Week Nine: The Whims Cowl, by Nicky Avery of Avery Lane Creations, uses three different crochet stitches to give this cowl amazing texture. Nicky includes a video tutorial, making this cowl perfect for beginners as well.
Week Eight: The Hybrid Tunisian Cowl by Rose Ogden of Black Rose Stitches is our first Tunisian design for the Blog Hop. This lovely cowl combines Tunisian and basic crochet stitches for a stunning look.
Week Seven: The Gleason Shawl, designed by Katy Petersen of KT and the Squid, uses 4 skeins of Whims Merino DK. This gorgeous design is great for all seasons. You can make this design in any color combination.
Week Six: The Denali Cowl, designed by Lorene Eppolite of Cre8tion Crochet, features amazing texture that is highlighted by the stitch definition that can be achieved by using Whims Merino. This cowl would look great in any color combo.
Week Five: The Precious Petals Shawl, designed by Stephanie Erin is a great piece that will transition from Winter into Spring. This design would look amazing in any of our Whims DK colorways.
Week Four: The Diamonds & Twists Beanie, by Jennifer Pionk of A Crocheted Simplicity, features beautiful cables. Our Whims Merino DK really shows off the pattern with great stitch definition.
Week Three: The Easy Amethyst Cardi, by Coco Crochet Lee, features great texture and comes in 9 sizes. This cardigan is made in panels and seamed together.
Week Two: The Ragged Falls Shrug, by Sincerely Pam, comes in 4 children's sizes (with adult sizes coming soon, so stay tuned to Pam's blog). It features great texture and fun construction.
Week One: We are bringing in 2020 with a bang with our first designer. We are happy to bring you our first blog hop pattern in both crochet and knit. This fun earwarmer pattern utilizes Briana's Infinity Crochet Method.
