Last week we opened up our giveaway for helping us name the shawl for our September CAL with Cre8tion Crochet. We had over one thousand name suggestions... that we just are not done going through. The actual name of the cowl will be announced next week, September 19, 2016 when we release part 1. We did not base the winner off the name we chose (or will chose) because multiple people have submitted the same name, or names similar enough that it would have been impossible to decide who the winner was.

Last week was a sneak preview of our September CAL, but this week we are bringing you more detailed pictures so that you can really see what your shawl will look like.
Get to know a little more about our designer...
As you know, our designer for the very first Furls Crochet-a-Long is Lorene Eppolite of Cre8tion Crochet. You can check out this interview between Lorene and the founder & owner of Furls Fiberarts, Harrison Richards.
You can also check out some of Lorene's crochet patterns in her Ravelry. A great deal of Lorene's patterns are free, but she does also offer a few premium patterns, and we have a little surprise for you at the end of this post... don't scroll through without reading it all the way through, we're watching. Just kidding, we're not really watching, but we don't want you to miss the other important info about the CAL, so, patience young padawan.
