Welcome to part 3 of the Sunflower Amigurumi CAL! Last week we made the full body, which can be found here, and this week we will be making all the individual leaves and petals for the sunflower as well as attaching all of them to complete your sunflower!
PATTERN PART TWO
Petals (Make 9)
(Begin in Yellow)
Rnd 1: Sc 6 into Magic Ring (6)
Rnd 2: *Inc* around (12)
Rnd 3-7: Sc around
Finish off
Leaves (Make 2)
It will be helpful to leave a long tail for sewing!
Begin in Green
Rnd 1: Sc 6 into Magic Ring (6)
Rnd 2: *Inc* around (12)
Rnd 3-6: Sc around (12)
Rnd 7: *Dec* around (6)
Rnd 8: Sc around (6)
Finish and sew hole closed
Once you have all those things done, you are now able to sew on the all the pieces! It’s important to pin these into place to make sure you know where they will all fit
When sewing on the pedals, I found it to be effective to go through both sides, underneath and through again.
The very last step is to embroider the face on with your black and pink yarn and embroider onto the leaves!
And there you go, we are now all done! I hope you had fun with this project as much as I did.
