Hi everyone, it's Brenna from Little Raven Fiber Arts, back again and pleased to see you as we step into the warming weeks of May! We had a long winter up here in Wisconsin and it's left me eagerly anticipating sunny summer days. What better symbol of summer than the classic ice cream cone? And then, why not make it GIANT?
Woohoo! In celebration of Mother's Day, we're making these huggable mommy-and-baby ice cream cones! I picked strawberry and vanilla because I'm partial to those flavors, but feel free to represent your own favorites!
To achieve the larger size with less fuss, we'll be holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together and using a size K hook.
I used one Red Heart Jumbo skein per color so I could divide them into two yarn cakes for holding the yarn double.
* Two skeins/yarn cakes each of worsted weight yarn in pink, white and tan

Hey everybody! Shortly into our CALs we realized that our out-of-the-box blog comment system wouldn't let us reply to your comments.
We've since installed Disqus, above, which allows you guys to respond to each other and us to reply to your questions; seems like a no-brainer!
We will continue to display existing comments from the old comment system on all existing blog posts. All future commenting will be done through Disqus. Enjoy!
