The head and body of the bear are each worked in continuous rounds. To make sure you don't lose your place, mark the beginning of each new round with a stitch marker. Do not chain 1 at the beginning of rounds or join rounds with a slip stitch, as this will leave a visible "scar" in your stitches.
Assembly info follows, under each component's pattern.
Let's get started!

FO, leaving a long tail for assembly.
Put the 6mm snap-in eyes between rounds 8-9 of the head, to either side of the snout.
Using black scrap yarn, embroider a nose onto the snout and secure the ends well, tucking them inside the snout.
Stuff the head, paying special attention to the snout area to ensure stuffing gets all the way to the tip of the nose.
Sew the neck to the bear body, angled slightly upwards (see image above). I recommend pinning the head in place before you start sewing so you can make adjustments to suit you.
Ears (make 2)
ch 2
1. 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, TURN (3)
2. 2 sc in each sc across, TURN (6)
3. sc in each sc across, TURN (6)

FO, leaving a long tail for assembly.
Sew the last rows of the ears to the head at about round 13. The ears should be spaced about 6 stitches apart.
