This sweet free amigurumi Narwhal pattern is sure to please any fantasy ami crochet lover, child or child at heart. 

 

SUPPLIES

Red Heart Super Value Yarn 364 yards (you will not use the entire skein to make one narwhal)

E/3.5mm Furls Odyssey Hook

8mm safety eyes

Stuffing, scissors and a sewing needle, black embroidery thread for the mouth and eyebrows

Tail Fin (make 2)

Horn

Rnd1: With the color yarn that you would like to use for the horn sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second ch from your hook (6)

Rnd5: [Inc, sc x 2] x 2 (8)

Large Circle

Rnd1: With the color yarn that you would like to use for your circle sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second ch from your hook (6)

Rnd2: Inc x 6, fasten off (12)

Small Circle

Rnd1: With the color yarn that you would like to use for the horn sc x 6 in a magic ring, or ch x 2 and do 6sc in the second ch from your hook, fasten off (6)

Assembly

Sew the fins onto your narwhal, and onto each side at the end of the tail. I use dress making pins to hold the fins in place until I sew a portion of them on. Sew on a mouth and eyebrows. Stuff the horn and sew it onto your Narwhal along with the circles.
