PART ONE

This week we will be making the first half of the Daydreamer Blanket. Though the blanket is the same repeat pattern throughout, it will be done in halves as it’s a larger pattern. With color blocked sections, this is a great pattern to personalize or to stash bust with!

Ch 116

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook, sc in next, *dc in next, sc in next, repeat * across to last ch – 114 sts
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, dc in same, sc in next, *dc in next, sc in next, repeat * across – 114 sts

Repeat Row 2 until there are a total of 76 rows. See color changes below.

15 Rows in Color A (color shown: Snow)
8 Rows in Color B (color shown: Mist)
30 Rows in Color C (color shown: Surf)
8 Rows in Color B (color shown: Mist)
15 Rows in Color D (color shown: Sunrise)

PART TWO

Let’s get the second half completed! Same as the first but throw in another color if you’re following the recommended color changes. Doing more or less colors? I’m so anxious to see your finished project!

Row 77: Ch 2, turn, dc in same, sc in next, *dc in next, sc in next, repeat * across – 114 sts

Repeat Row 77 until there are a total of 152 rows. See color changes below.

15 Rows in Color D (color shown: Sunrise)

8 Rows in Color B (color shown: Mist)

30 Rows in Color E (color shown: Amethyst)

8 Rows in Color B (color shown: Mist)

15 Rows in Color A (color shown: Snow)

Edging:

Work 2 additional sc in last st. Rotate piece to work down the raw edge. Sc evenly down the raw edge changing to the same color as the color block of the blanket. Work 3 sc in the first beginning chain and rotate to work along the beginning chain. Alternate sc and dc across the beginning chain. Work 2 additional sc in last ch. Rotate piece to work up the raw edge. Sc evenly down the raw edge changing to the same color as the block of blanket. Work 2 additional sc in first st on Row 152. Join.
