Daily Use for Bags & Soft Accessories:
Avoid overstuffing. Overloading your leather case can stretch and deform the leather.
Keep dry. Water can stain or damage leather. If your case gets wet, blot (don’t rub) it with a clean, dry cloth and let it air dry naturally.
Clean Gently
Dust regularly. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
Spot clean. Use a slightly damp cloth (water only) for light marks. For deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner made specifically for your type of leather (e.g., chrome-tanned).
Avoid soap, alcohol, or harsh chemicals. These can strip the leather’s natural oils and cause discoloration or cracking.
Condition Occasionally
Use leather conditioner every 6–12 months to keep the leather soft and supple. Test in a small area first.
Choose the right conditioner recommended for your case’s leather type (chrome-tanned).
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
Avoid direct sunlight, which can fade and dry out leather.
When not in use, store your case in a breathable bag to protect it from dust and scratches.
The leather used in all Furls products are an upcycled by-product of the meat and dairy industry, preventing waste and supporting circular production practices. It is a natural, renewable, biodegradable material, responsibly processed in an LWG-certified tannery. This certification ensures adherence to strict environmental standards in water usage, energy consumption, and chemical management.
