Thank you again Harrison, lesson two was as good as one! I am selling my crocheted items in a retail store at the moment and I may have found my island! Will let you know! Thanks again, I love learning new things and I love listening to your voice, your accent is awesome!!
Thank you, Susie
This second lesson in particular has been very very good for me. You put it in such a way that I can mash things out in my head and figure out a direction of where to go to sell my items. My items are handmade--there is no replication from one to another but they are similar in technique. You made the path of "where" to go to sell them much clearer to me--farmer's markets, art shows, etc are nice but labour intensive and to be honest--expensive. The tables cost around $120 a day here and most people walk, browse and don't buy. They may call later and buy but not at that time. Just not worth it--websites are hard to get out there so that people are driven to it and see your product. FB as a marketing avenue is useless now for the most part since they (FB) changed who sees your pages--I have a unique product. Something only a few can replicate and even less would want to--the average person could not. Yet, it is botanical, fiber arts and very pretty---unique for home decor. Wall art or pillows-now I"m getting the how to get it to the people I need to. Thank you for this--as a person who is not a business/marketing person. This is SO helpful!!!
