Free Knit Cowl Pattern- Joule

Free Knit Cowl Pattern- Joule

Posted by Lorene Eppolite on

Hey Furlers! I'm so thrilled to bring you this beautiful knit cowl. Fun fact: knitting was actually my first love so when Furls Crochet came out with their beautiful knitting needles I was beyond excited! The Joule Cowl may look fancy and complicated but it's actually extremely beginner-friendly. The flattering shape of this cowl is created with simple increases and the squishy texture only uses knit and purl stitches. I highly suggest using Furls Whims Merino yarn with this project as the z twist and squishy merino add to the lushness of it. The Joule Cowl uses only two skeins of Whims Merino.

ABOUT OUR DESIGNER

Katy is the knit and crochet designer and yarn dyer behind KT and the Squid. She taught herself to knit and crochet in high school and started designing in 2011. Her favorite things to make include garments and shawls for women. Her style is contemporary, lightweight and simple.
